My Philosophy
Do you own or have you ever found an article of clothing that you really like, but there's something about it that you don't like? Maybe, its a little too big, or.... a little too small. Maybe its a skirt that needs a little more length, or a top with a neckline that drops too low for your comfort. Or maybe you have a pair of jeans th
Do you own or have you ever found an article of clothing that you really like, but there's something about it that you don't like? Maybe, its a little too big, or.... a little too small. Maybe its a skirt that needs a little more length, or a top with a neckline that drops too low for your comfort. Or maybe you have a pair of jeans that you'd like to have in a little lighter color, or give them the "worn" look. The solution may be as simple as a little altering or remodeling, or some other creative solution to make it ready for you to wear!
My History as a Seamstress
Starting out at about age 5, my Mom, (my primary teacher), taught me how to sew a button onto a piece of material.
Around age 6, my very first sewing project was a heart pillow in which I had created a pattern for out of notebook paper. Picking up "cute things" on garage sales at about age 13 is when I began alterations and clothing rem

Around age 6, my very first sewing project was a heart pillow in which I had created a pattern for out of notebook paper. Picking up "cute things" on garage sales at about age 13 is when I began alterations and clothing remodels.
From there I would buy raw material and also make brand new clothes from patterns, as well as begin to use bleach to modify jeans giving them the worn look.
